Reconstruction of Gene Regulatory Networks Using Pattern Recognition Techniques: In this project, Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) are used for the reconstruction of the regulatory network that patterns the chordate nerve cord in Ascidians (a type of chordate, like fish, frogs, and humans). For this project, gene expression levels of the organism were recorded through a temporal microarray experiment throughout the development stage from embryo to a tadpole-like larva (an 18 hour process).

Intelligent Chemical Structural Database (I-ChemiSt), an online spectral database of GC-EIM Spectra of Partially Methylated Alditol Acetates (PMAA) has been launched. A web interface has been developed which provides the functionality of searching spectra and viewing the spectra in an interactive viewer. Future features will include an Automated structural Identification system.
