Bioinformatics and Medical Informatics (BMI) Graduate Program
This event is organized to provide prospective students information about the field, the BMI program at SDSU, and possible career paths. Industry representatives from Genomatica and Novartis will discuss joint projects and career opportunities for BMI graduates. The event will also feature several faculty members (from SDSU and UCSD) involved in the BMI program. As the largest biotechnology hub, San Diego is the ideal location for SDSU’s BMI program. Prospective students will get a feel for the local industry demand as well as academic opportunities for graduates of the program.
